We have loved Emerald Beach so much that we have extended our stay to 17 days in all.
Love the wildlife, kangaroos, tawny frogmouth owls, kangaroos, ducks, magpies, lorikeets, Indian minors, many other species too, the proximity to facilities, I have loved having a super bathroom almost to myself, no one used it much, so it was mostly in pristine condition and the fittings were new, in the morning the sun poured in. The Pancake Breakfast on Wednesdays, Happy Hour on Friday evening, craft sessions, the friendliness of all the staff, loved Coffs Harbour in general and Woolgoolga, the banana plantations and the views of the ocean as you drove along the Pacific Highway, enjoyed eating the ladyfinger bananas.
Decided that we couldn’t leave before checking out the BIG BANANA, had beautiful banana split and fritter, learned how bananas grew then climbed up through a typical banana plantation to the lookout over the bay, my knee held out, the doctor’s extra medication was starting to work.
